This year that feeling was stronger than ever, with the shoot coming after months of lockdown restrictions*, uncertainty and isolation. The mood on set was joyful, with everyone excited to be back in the room creating some stunning imagery for the Spring Summer 2021 campaign.
The huge bouncy balls may also have had something to do with the feel-good vibes…even if one or two did pop along the way!
INSPIRATION STATIONGetting in to the studio at 9am, one of the first things we do is set up our mood board. A collection of images linked to the theme of the shoot, we refer to the mood board through the day for inspiration.
You know what they say…never work with children, animals, or…balloons…?
DECISIONS, DECISIONS...It’s always tough to decide what lingerie we want to shoot. We’re biased, but we think it’s all so beautiful! The Wholesale Team help to finalise the choices, indicating what styles have had the most orders so far from stockists. Along with Design input, this helps to whittle down the list – although we always take more to shoot than we end up using!
OPERATION GLAMIt’s always fun to watch the hair and make-up teams at work – you can often pick up a few tips and tricks! We loved the dewy natural looks that were created for Curveball – the soft, neutral pallet felt just right for Spring and Summer.
